Omaha, NE - The Omaha school board has voted to keep its president, Freddie Gray.

The vote Monday night was 8-4.  Gray had was under fire over how she handled the Dr. Nancy Sebring email scandal.  Sebring was hired as the new superintendent of Omaha Public Schools, but resigned before she started when emails between her and her lover became public.  Sebring had written the emails on her work computer.

Some board members took issue with Gray, saying she withheld information from them and the public.

Those voting against Gray Monday night were Nancy Kratky, Kersten Borer, Sandra Jensen and Justin Wayne.  That vote came after more than an hour of public comment, both in favor and against Gray keeping her position.
