OPPD Called In Extra Crews To Repair Power Outtages
Omaha, NE -- Tuesday night's storm knocked out power to over 16-hundred OPPD customers.
OPPD spokesperson blamed 60-mile an hour winds for damaging power lines to over 1400 residents in Sarpy County. The majority of the outages in Sarpy County are near Offutt Air Force Base.
In Douglas County, 12-hundred customers lost power when the storm hit a transmission box at 90th and Military Road. Customers from Fowler to State Street and 82nd to Blair High Road Street were effected.
OPPD has extra crews working to repair power.
