Jaguar's constantly updated XK coupe and convertible are in the top 10 of cars most likely to become classics, according to a survey of more than 3,500 classic vehicle owners. The survey produced a list of the 10 cars they thought would be celebrated in 50 years - as the MGB, Renault 5 and Lotus Elan are this year. The research was conducted last November and included visitors to the Footman James Classic Motor Show. Andy Fairchild, Footman James' managing director, said: 'This year marks the 50th anniversary of many classic icons. It is fascinating to obtain an insight into what classic vehicle owners deem to be the classics of the future'
