David Coulthard drives F1 car at 190mph through Lincoln Tunnel in New York

Former F1 driver David Coulthard tore through the Lincoln Tunnel reaching speeds in excess of 190 mph.

At the wheel of a 2011 Red Bull Formula One car, the Scottish driver flew under the Hudson river between New Jersey and New York City in under a minute as part of a Red Bull Racing promotional tour for the Grand Prix of America scheduled for June 2013.

"It's a weird attack on your senses when you go fast and you've got sort of this closure of the tunnel leading to the point. I was disappointed we couldn't go faster!" Coulthard said after the early morning drive.
