Press Box To Be Blown Up Wednesday

Omaha, NE - It's been coming down piece by piece. On Wednesday, most of what's left of Rosenblatt will be brought to the ground with explosives.

According to a news release from the next-door Henry Doorly Zoo: "The demolition is expected to happen very quickly and will register less than 75 decibels." The press box--the heart of the stadium-- will be blown up at 7 a.m. The press box stretches from first base to third base.           

Police will close 13th Street and the zoo parking lots while the explosives are detonated.

After the press box is brought down, all that'll be left will be the grandstands.
