Hundreds Line up For Tickets to See President Obama
Council Bluffs, IA - President Obama is coming to Council Bluffs Monday and hundreds lined up to get their tickets to see him.
The line wrapped all the way down Madison Avenue at the Organizing for America headquarters.
Volunteers handed out tickets starting at 11 a-m, but some people got there as early as 7 a-m.
Obama’s visit is part of a three-day campaign tour across the Hawkeye state.
"The focus is on the Presidential race, and with Romney announcing his Vice Presidential candidate I think it's bringing enthusiasm to our side,” said Pottawattamie County Democratic Chair Linda Nelson. “Folks are like ok I know what that team has done, and I want to go see the President and help him get re-elected.”
The President's campaign event will be held Monday at 11 am at Bayliss Park.
