ESPN.com news servicesLeft-handed starting pitcher Cliff Lee of the Philadelphia Phillies is in play in the trade market Monday and the Texas Rangers are the most logical landing spot, a source told Buster Olney of ESPN.
The source told Olney that the Phillies are looking for a significant package in return. "It's not going to be cheap," the source said.
Lee came to Texas a few weeks before the trade deadline in 2010, and helped the club reach its first World Series. Lee signed as a free agent with the Phillies in 2011.
