The most expensive breakfast was found to be at the Jumeirah Carlton Hotel (£39), with a five-star fry-up at The Dorchester coming in second, at £36 and The Ritz, third, at £35.
Anyone staying in London will be hard pushed to find a hotel breakfast in a five-star hotel for less than £20, the mobile phone booking company Blink Booking, discovered. According to listings in The AA Best Hotel Guide, there are just four five-star hotels offering the national dish for less than £20.
