Since then, Farah has used it after both of his gold medal winning performances, in the 10,000m and 5,000m runs, and it was even shown off by Usain Bolt after his victory last night as part of the Jamaican team in the 4x100m relay.
He asked Farah: "Do you think if we come up with something...?" The athlete replied: "I'll definitely do it."
Balding showed her idea for the move, saying: "I think he should do the M from YMCA, the M for Mo."
David Walliams, another guest, suggested putting the hands together under the chin and saying "woo hoo" - suggesting the "M" move might upset people by showing off "hairy armpits" - but was overruled by Corden.
The presenter got Farah to practice the move during the programme, before proudly announcing: "I have just named it. It's called the Mobot."
