Glenwood, IA - He said the sex in the high school closet was consensual. She said it wasn't.
Monday, 20-year-old Andrew Schoening pleaded guilty in Mills County to third degree sexual abuse in return for no prison time. Under the original charge, he faced up to 10 years in prison.
The teen, who was 15 at the time, told police Schoening forced her to have sex in a closet at Glenwood High. He resigned his job as audiovisual supervisor at the school after police arrested him.
Schoening will be sentenced in November.
