The Secret Service and Pres. Obama's Advance team are already here preparing for his Council Bluffs visit.
Council Bluffs, IA – President Barack Obama will visit Council Bluffs, Monday. Both candidates are turning to Iowa as we approach the final strech. The six electoral votes in the hawkeye state could be key on election night.
The President’s stop in Council Bluffs is part of a three day campaign trip to Iowa, making it his longest visit to a single state as he works much deeper into battleground states. This will be his fifth trip to Iowa this year.
Pottawattamie County Democrats are ecstactic to hear the commander in chief will visit Council Bluffs.
Iowa has six electoral votes and is an important swing state. Pres. Obama and Iowa also have history. He visited every corner of the state in 2008 during the caucuses.
Monday’s event is free but you need a ticket. They’re available Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Organizing for America, Council Bluffs and Omaha Offices. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
